Berry Chia Overnight Oats with Greek Yogurt

A make-ahead breakfast with whole grains, berries, chia, and creamy Greek yogurt.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened milk dairy or plant-based
  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt 2% or whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup optional
  • 1 cup mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds

Method
 

  1. Combine the oats, chia seeds, milk, half of the yogurt, vanilla, and maple syrup in a bowl or two lidded jars.
  2. Stir well, wait 5 minutes, and stir again so the chia is evenly distributed.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Before serving, stir the oats and add a splash of milk if needed. Top with the remaining yogurt, berries, and almonds.

Notes

Refrigerate in a covered container for up to 3 days. Add nuts immediately before serving.
