Lose it 2% at a time; losing 5 or 3 pounds is a good achievement. Now, you have success, momentum & a new goal.
Weight daily & on two spike-ups, check what went wrong & fix it. Then, repeat. To check what went wrong, you will need a journal\log of food, drink, sleep, etc.
Eating well is the best way to reduce weight. To reduce 1-2 things during each of these 2 percent; for me, it was late-night dessert.
Do walk & exercise for additional boost & progress check.
Please note that it is a big project in one’s life & needs close checks until the habit sets in, maybe in 3 months. If there are other projects, they will impact the success.
